Mid-Atlantic bloom time: April - May
Mid-Atlantic fruit ripe: May - July

Rocktwist can be found in rocky wooded areas, including limestone cliffs and outcrops, and shale barrens. Its leaves typically have dentate margins, with the basal leaves forming rosettes.
