Mid-Atlantic bloom time: March - June
Mid-Atlantic fruit ripe: April - September

Lyre-leaf Rockcress is typically found in thin soils and does not compete well with other plants in richer soils. It goes by a number of common names, including Lyre-leaved Rock Cress, Lyre-leaved Thale-cress, Lyrate Rockcress, and Sand Cress.

Lyre-leaf Rockcress has a circumpolar distribution in the Northern Hemisphere. Genetic studies have found that the species has distinct differences between North American and European populations.
